Anonymous use or an account?
Eight of the ten tools run without signing in, at full scope — not as a preview, not with a truncated result. Only batch processing and bulk import need an account, and it additionally unlocks the archive, consecutive numbering and master data. It is free of charge.
What works without signing in
Section titled “What works without signing in”| Tool | Account required | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Validate, View, Convert, Create, Extract, Combine, PDF to e-invoice, Invoice data capture | no | — |
| Batch processing | yes | needs a queue and an assignment to a tenant |
| Bulk import | yes | needs a stored mapping profile |
The sign-in requirement applies to these two tools and to the account area. Everything else is open.
The fair-use limit for anonymous use
Section titled “The fair-use limit for anonymous use”Without signing in, a fair-use limit of 20 operations per hour and 50 per day applies per client address. It is not tracked per tool: whoever alternates between validating and converting is doing the same thing as far as the same machine is concerned. From the eighth operation within an hour, a pointer to the API appears — it blocks nothing.
What the account unlocks
Section titled “What the account unlocks”Beyond the two tools:
- Invoice archive with a detail view and mail dispatch
- Finalising with a consecutive number (section 14 of the German VAT Act, GoBD)
- Master data: invoice issuers, customers, articles
- Your own Word templates for the visual layer of the hybrid PDF
- API keys in self-service
- Members — several people on one tenant
