Creating an account

There is no separate registration: the account is created when you first sign in. In the cloud an email address is all it takes; there is no password there. The Enterprise installation additionally offers password sign-in.

The two routes

Why there is a confirmation page in between

Mail scanners and preview services follow links in email automatically. If the link completed the sign-in directly, it would be spent before the human ever clicked it. So it first shows a page with a button.

The answer is always the same

A sign-in request is always met with the same neutral confirmation — regardless of whether an account already exists for that address. This is deliberate: otherwise the form would disclose who holds an account here.

What the account unlocks

Batch processing and bulk import, plus the invoice archive, finalising with a consecutive number (section 14 of the German VAT Act, GoBD), master data, your own Word templates, API keys, members and mail dispatch from the archive. Several people on one account

A tenant knows two roles: an owner manages the plan, members, master data and keys; a member works with the tools. Invitations and the immediately effective withdrawal of rights are described under Members and roles.
