Extracting
What for. To retrieve the embedded invoice XML from a hybrid PDF.
In. A ZUGFeRD or Factur-X PDF.
Out. The name of the embedded file, its AFRelationship, the XML download, the invoice in legible
form, the EN 16931 validation of the embedded XML and an XML preview. With an account also
“Save to archive”.
The usual attachment names are found: factur-x.xml, zugferd-invoice.xml, xrechnung.xml and
order-x.xml.
When there is nothing inside
Section titled “When there is nothing inside”The page reports “No embedded e-invoice found” — and names the way onward, not merely the negative:
The PDF contains no embedded e-invoice (factur-x.xml / zugferd-invoice.xml) — it is probably an ordinary PDF invoice. With “PDF to e-invoice” we read the invoice data out of the PDF and create a real e-invoice from it.
The button carries over the file you already uploaded; a second upload is not needed.
