What for. To make an e-invoice legible — the same presentation for all nine formats, because the data is first read into the shared model.

In. XML or a ZUGFeRD/Factur-X PDF, as a file or as pasted text.

  • Header data: number, date, due date, delivery date, service period, references
  • Seller and buyer — where applicable the delivery address, an alternative payee, a tax representative
  • The line-item table
  • A VAT breakdown by category and rate
  • A totals block down to the amount payable — including prepayment, retention, stamp duty and social contributions wherever the format carries them
  • Payment along with a GiroCode: “Scan the GiroCode with your banking app – the transfer is filled in automatically.”

Below that, the EN 16931 validation also runs, with the same report as under Validating; where there are errors, “Correct invoice” appears here too.

Further buttons: Print — the controls are hidden for this — and, with an account, “Save to archive”.

The page reports “No displayable invoice detected” and names the reason. With an ordinary PDF the “PDF to e-invoice” button appears, as it does when validating — the file is carried over.

The create tool produces no GiroCode. The QR code appears in the invoice view here and under Extracting.
