The portal at a glance
Invoiceflair is a web service for electronic invoices: validate, display legibly, convert between formats, create afresh, and derive from ordinary PDF invoices. Ten tools are available, eight of them without signing in. The same application runs as a public service and as an installation on your own premises.
Two deployment modes, the same tools
Section titled “Two deployment modes, the same tools”| Mode | Address | What is different |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud | www.invoiceflair.com |
public, free of charge, sign-in by magic link only |
| Enterprise | the host of your installation | on your own premises, no plan limits, password sign-in in addition |
The tools are identical in both cases. Wherever something differs, this documentation says so explicitly.
The eight tools without signing in
Section titled “The eight tools without signing in”| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Validate | check an e-invoice against EN 16931 or the rules of its national format |
| View | render invoice XML legibly for a human reader |
| Convert | transform between the formats, including from the ERP side |
| Create | build a compliant invoice from a form — optionally as a hybrid PDF |
| Extract | retrieve the embedded XML from a hybrid PDF |
| Combine | join your own PDF and your own XML into a hybrid PDF |
| PDF to e-invoice | read an ordinary PDF invoice, review it, release it |
| Invoice data capture | the same reading, but returned as structured JSON rather than an invoice |
“Without signing in” is meant literally: no preview, no truncated result, no watermark.
The two tools that need an account
Section titled “The two tools that need an account”| Tool | Why an account is required |
|---|---|
| Batch processing | many files in one run — this needs a queue and an assignment to a tenant |
| Bulk import | an ERP raw-data export turned into a batch of invoices — this needs a stored mapping profile |
The account is free of charge and additionally unlocks the invoice archive, finalising with consecutive numbering, master data, your own Word templates, API keys and members. What depends on what is set out under Anonymous use or an account?.
The nine formats
Section titled “The nine formats”Read and written: XRechnung, ZUGFeRD/Factur-X, Peppol BIS 3.0, FatturaPA (Italy), Finvoice (Finland), ebInterface and Austrofix (Austria), FA_VAT/KSeF (Poland) and Facturae (Spain). The engine also reads ERP raw data — SAP INVOIC IDoc, UN/EDIFACT, cXML, openTRANS, DATEV — and some twenty non-European document formats.
